This is a great local annual event to support the local Skyline High School jazz band. The event is at the Elks Lodge in Idaho Falls (640 E. Elva St).
Introductory swing lesson 6:30-7:30. The Jazz House Big Band plays 7:30-10pm.
Welcome to Swing Junction! Swing Junction focuses on the dances from the 1920s-40s including Lindy Hop, Jitterbug, Balboa, Charleston and Shag. Swing Junction is working with local jazz musicians to keep this part of our history alive in Idaho Falls. CELEBRATING TWO YEARS OF DANCES!!!
Come join us Saturday, November 5th for our two year anniversary of holding big band swing dances. It will be a great time. To honor our Veterans, we are offering free admission to Veterans/Active Military plus one guest. You don't want to miss this one!
We will be teaching some new moves leading up to this dance. We're offering a two week class, Thursday, October 27th and November 3rd 8-9pm. $15/person. Contact Meredith 529-3829 to reserve your spot in the class.
