If you are travelling, the Utah Lindy Exchange is January 16-18th in Salt Lake City.

For those who aren't familiar:

A lindy exchange is a gathering of lindy hop dancers in one city for several days to swing dance at various venues. This is a great social event where you get to meet and dance with many swing dancers from different parts of the country.

 

February will be busy! 

February 7th - Co-op Monthly Swing Lesson and Dance

February 14th - Free dj'ed swing dance at Presbyterian Church, downtown Idaho Falls.

February 28th - Skyline High School Jazz Band Fundraiser, featuring the Jazz House Big Band at the Elks Lodge.

Next Monthly Dance this Saturday!!!

Don't forget to join us this Saturday for our First Saturday of the Month Swing Dance at the Yoga Co-op downtown.  We are happy to have The Jazz House Big Band back to play for our dance!

Great Dance on Saturday

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our first Big Band Dance this past Saturday.  We had over 60 people attend the event.  It was a lot of fun. 

This event takes place the first Saturday of every month.  Hope to see you all in December!

BalBozeman Event

If you are feeling adventurous, are available this weekend, and would like to learn more Balboa you should drive up to Bozeman, MT for the Balbozeman Event!  Great balboa dancers Heather Ballew and Javier Johnson will be teaching for the weekend with dances in the evening.  For more information: http://www.balbozeman.info/
