Swing Dance This Saturday!!!!

It's the First Saturday of the Month Big Band Dance this weekend!
We get to dance to the Jazz House Big Band two weekends in a row.
In Idaho Falls we are fortunate enough to have access to this wonderful 16 piece big band directed by Doug Wareing.

The Skyline High School Fundraiser was a great time last weekend.  Erin and Rick taught the basic lesson and had a packed class!

Thank you to Bob Dunmire and Skyline High School for having us teach.  We look forward to this event every year!

Class starts tomorrow everyone!
If you still want to join us for the Thursday night six week series, class starts at tomorrow at 8pm at the Idaho Falls School of Ballet (410 W. 16th Street, IF 83402).

Saturday, February 27th is Skyline High School's annual fundraiser
All proceeds are used for the Skyline Jazz & Symphonic Bands Spring Trip to perform at Disneyland

Swing Junction will provide a free lesson 6:30-7:30 pm.
The Jazz House Big Band and the Skyline High School's Jazz Band will be playing at the dance.
Location: Elks Lodge in Idaho Falls (640 E. Elva St)
Cost: $8/person or $15/couple

This is a great event, over 150 people were there last year!

Next Dance is Saturday, February 6th!!!

Coming up quickly is our next big band swing dance.
We will have our amazing local Jazz House Big Band playing for us.

Great things to come in February!

We are loving the space at our new permanent location in the Veterans Memorial Building.  The music sounds great and the wood floor is wonderful!

Saturday, February 6th is our monthly swing dance featuring the Jazz House Big Band.  Details opposite on the blog page.

We're starting a six week Swing Essentials class in mid-February.  Class will be Thursdays 8-9pm. If you are interested emails us at: swingjunction1@gmail.com

Saturday, February 27 is the Skyline High School Jazz Band Fundraiser.  Swing Junction will be teachings lesson 6:30-7:30.  The Jazz House Big Band along with the Skyline Jazz Band will be playing the dance portion.  Costs should be announced shortly.
