Due to the holidays we moved our dance from the first Saturday of the month to the second. Our dance will be on Saturday, January 9th. The Jazz House Big Band is playing! This is an amazing local 16-piece big band.
This will be at our new location, The. Veterans Memorial Building, 485 Constitution Way- downtown Idaho Falls.
Our introductory lesson is 8-9 PM, the dance is 9-11pm.
$7 lesson and the dance, $5 dance portion only
No partner required and beginners always welcome.
Welcome to Swing Junction! Swing Junction focuses on the dances from the 1920s-40s including Lindy Hop, Jitterbug, Balboa, Charleston and Shag. Swing Junction is working with local jazz musicians to keep this part of our history alive in Idaho Falls. Next dance Saturday, December 5th at the VFW
Ok everyone, I'm hoping we have a new permanent location for our dance! Our next dance will be at the VFW downtown Idaho Falls. This building was built in 1911 and has a wonderful old wood floor. The Skidmore Four Jazz Quartet will be playing for our dance.
We will be returning to our regular lesson and dance times again.
Intermediate lesson 7-8pm, Introductory Lesson 8-9pm, dance 9-11pm.
Cost $7 Lesson and the dance, dance only $5
Location is 485 Constitution Way, there's a red, white and blue door.

New Venue, New Times for our dance Saturday, November 7th
Thank you everyone for coming out last month, we had over 60 people! Our dance is still trying to secure a permanent venue and unfortunately we've had to move again this month. Thank you for hanging in there with us.
