Welcome to Swing Junction! Swing Junction focuses on the dances from the 1920s-40s including Lindy Hop, Jitterbug, Balboa, Charleston and Shag. Swing Junction is working with local jazz musicians to keep this part of our history alive in Idaho Falls. Ongoing Swing Classes starting Thursdays, February 2013
Erin Nazario, a great local swing dancer, is starting to teach ongoing classes, starting with the basics. Rick will be helping out in February to teach.
Where: Studio One 2277 Ironwood Dr. (at the very end of Ironwood in Ironwood Estates behind the field that is behind Skyline)

Cost: $35/for the four Thursdays in February OR $10/per class; drop-ins are welcome and no partner required

Skyline High School Jazz Band Annual Fundraiser!
SAVE THE DATE! The Jazz House Big Band and the Skyline High School
Jazz Band are playing big band music at the Elks Lodge in IF for their annual fundraiser. There is a large dance floor!
Rick and Erin will be teaching a basic lesson before the music begins.
Where: Elks Lodge, 640 East Elva Street, Idaho Falls, ID 83401
Time: Introductory Lesson 6:30pm - 7:30pm
Dance: 7:30pm-10:30pm
Cost: Recommended donation $5/person and $8/couple

Big Band Bash June 22 Pocatello
This year is the Third Annual Big Band Bash at the AVCenter Hanger at the Pocatello Regional Airport. The Jazz House Big Band will be playing there and it's a great event to attend. The event starts at 6 pm and includes dinner.
